Reiki
Reiki is a form of energy healing discovered in Japan in the early 20th Century by Dr Mikao Usui. The word itself can be translated as "Universal Life Force Energy" and it relates to an unlimited source of energy that the Reiki practitioner can tap into.

Reiki is available to anyone, we are all plugged into the Universe but our switch is turned off. The Reiki training allows the switch to be turned on.
You don't need any specific experience or belief system to be attuned to Reiki.
Reiki Courses​
​
The ability to tap into the Universal Life Force Energy is passed on from master to student via an attunement process. There are 3 levels (known as Degrees) of Reiki:
​
1st Degree - at this level you learn the history of Reiki, how to give yourself a treatment and how to give someone else a treatment (once you have been attuned, it is for life, you can utilise the Reiki healing energy at will)
2nd Degree - at this level you will become able to channel a higher frequency of energy, you learn how to send Reiki across time and space using specific symbols. At this level we start to heal at a more emotional and mental level
3rd Degree - known also as Master Practitioner level, again taking you to a higher frequency of energy, you will begin to work with a further symbol to open inner doors and work more on your own progress and healing

On completion of all 3 levels, you may wish to become a Reiki Master/Teacher, this process involves an intense 1 year apprenticeship

Reiki Talks, Courses & Energy Exchanges Dates

Reiki 1 Talk via Zoom: Wednesday 28th August 2024 7-8pm
This is an introduction to what Reiki is all about and what the 1st Degree training involves, giving you the opportunity to meet me & ask any questions

Bi-Monthly Energy Exchange - Tuesday 3rd September 7-9pm @ Timperley Congregational Church Hall, Heyes Lane, WA15 6EA
This is an event available to anyone who has been attuned to Reiki not just with myself to meet and share healing to & with others, there will be a theme for each session and some meditation as well as discussion. Suggested donation £10 which includes refreshments

Reiki 1 Course - Saturday 23rd & 30th November @ Timperley Congregational Church Hall, Heyes Lane, WA15 6EA
This course takes place over 2 Saturdays (10am - 4pm). The cost of the course is £195 which includes training materials, refreshments and a certificate on completion. A deposit of £50 will be required to secure a place and the balance will be payable on the 1st course day. Please note the deposit is non-refundable but in the event you are unable to attend a course, can be transferred to a future one

Reiki 2 Course - Saturday 11th & 18th January 2025 @ Timperley Congregational Church Hall, Heyes Lane, WA15 6EA
The course days run from 10am - 4pm. The cost of the course is £250 which includes training materials, refreshments and a certificate on completion.
